The base of their music is basically heavy rock. Listen to a song like "Tribute" to get what I mean. Sandra Nasic has an extremely unique voice and a distinctive vocal delivery. The musicians know their instruments very well and know just what to play to surprise the listener in a good way. Considering that this is their debut, this is really impressive. The Guano Apes pull this off like it was no thing. You know, fusing styles together that should not match that easy. "Proude Like A God" is basically just another crossover album. Then it can happen that I don't like an album but say that it's really good. And on certain albums, it gets even worse. Those two things fight in me when it comes to music. The following three albums also went straight to number 1 on the charts. The band received an Echo and the MTV Europe Music Award for "Best German Act", to name just a few awards. And so, ‘Open Your Eyes’ became a global anthem. Sandra was the first and loudest woman in the genre to become an icon for the girls who were not pop but different. With youthful recklessness, Henning Rümenapp, Dennis Poschwatta, Stefan Ude and Sandra Nasic created an album in the surrounding area of Göttingen, Germany, which led them on to a victory parade through the rock charts of the world, gave the generation X a voice and the band a career of more than 20 years.
